Who we are Zalaquett S.A. was founded in 1957 by Marcelo Zalaquett Numair, its current president, who began in the textile business with a factory of ribbons, woven ribbons and stitch covers. Four years later he launched what would become the core business unit of the Company and which has made it a multinational leader within Latin America: the Manufacturing of Woven Labels. The great progress and perfectionism achieved by Zalaquett S.A., has allowed it to win important prizes such as, "The Greatest Technological Development for Exports", which was issued in 1991 by the Sociedad de Fomento Fabril (SOFOFA) and that same year, the distinction for, "The Greatest Technological Development for Textile and Clothing Exports", issued by the Textile Institute of Chile A.G.. This sum of achievements, on top of the prestige obtained thanks to the excellence of its operations, took the Company in 1993 to a public offering of its stock in the Santiago Stock Exchange. In 2003, by entering the identification business, Zalaquett S.A. has become the only company, with a presence throughout all Latin America, that can offer its clients a "Full Package". For this, it has established commercial alliances with the best suppliers serving these markets, which has led to delivering the most optimum integral service.
